DIPLOMA G.I.R.F. 2009

The GIRF institutes the annual DIPLOMA which will last between Sunday, March 1st at 00:00 UTC and Sunday, March 15th at 24:00.  The stations which have regularly subscribed by depositing the annual and preceding social FEE will provide to the requestors the hour (UTC), report (RS-T), name, QTH and the progressive number of connection.
FREQUENCY BAND:                                   1.8 – 3.5 – 7 MHz
PUNTI:
Italian Stations: O.M. and S.W.L        40 POINTS
Foreign Stations:“                   “          20 POINTS
Stazioni G.I.R.F.:                                100 CONNECTIONS
TRANSMISSION MODES:                SSB – CW – RTTY
POWER:          Within their license limits;
NORMS:
With the same GIRF station, we admit only one single QSO or LISTENING (for the S:W:L) per day and per band, varying the transmission mode, and which will be worth ONE (1) POINT per QSO or LISTENING,
Every day, one JOLLY station will be present, which CONNECTION or LISTENING (for the S.W.L) will be worth 3 (three) points EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE NON-GIRF STATIONS.
The switch from one frequency to another or from one transmission mode to another is allowed only after a 10 minutes interval.

Euro 10 FOR THE GIRF and NON-GIRF OMs or 15 US dollars for foreigners to be transferred to:

They must reach the Award Manager, together with their QSL (or the exact address where the Diploma is to be delivered) together with the copy of their POSTEPAY valid transaction NOT AFTER APRIL 30th at the following address:

CLASSIFICATIONS:
Moreover, we precise that the STATIONS with ORDINARY LICENSE cannot participate as S.W.L stations and THE STATIONS OF SAN MARINO and of THE VATICAN STATE WILL BE CONSIDERED AS ITALIAN, THEREFORE AS NON-GIRF STATIONS.
In the graduation for FOREIGN stations, wherever the minimum of 5 (FIVE) stations is not met, said OMs will be included in the NON-GIRF OM GRADUATION CATEGORY.
For the award classifications, there will be considered only the LOGS received within the established date and which will not exceed 5% of errors out of the total valid QSOs which will result from the cross-control of the LOGS BETWEEN GIRF AND NON-GIRF STATIONS; these will be subdivided between the following categories of OMs:
G.I.R.F. STATIONS – NON G.I.R.F.STATIONS – S.W.L – FOREIGNERS
for the greatest number of totalling points.
AWARDS:
1°-2°-3° Classified O.M. non-G.I.R.F. and O.M. G.I.R.F. ;
FIRST STATION CLASSIFIED, CATEGORY S.W.L AND FOREIGN
THE AWARDS WILL BE DELIVERED TO THE WINNERS, IN THE LOCATION WICH WILL HOST THE ANNUAL DIPLOMA CEREMONY – THE UNRETIRED AWARDS WILL BE SHIPPED TO THEIR RECIPIENTS AT THEIR CHARGE.
